This report allows a comparison of current performance against the initial pump curves, showing areas where the pump has changed, and most importantly, if the pump can match the system demand point – the critical condition for pump acceptance by all fire authorities.
Our testing team will run the pumps through their full cycle from closed head to full flow, measuring the flow, pressures and speed at each point. We produce a current pump performance curve with adjustments for changes in head and speed, to help analyze the pump against its initial conditions. Critical conditions such as valve and pipe blockage’s, impeller erosion and engine performance changes are all highlighted in the report. Comparison against the previous year’s results helps show how quickly these changes are happening to give warning of possible service, upgrades or replacement.
